Thanksgiving is right around the corner and since COVID19 doesn’t appear to be going away anytime soon, Thanksgiving tables are going to look a little (okay, a lot) different than usual.
But small doesn’t mean boring! Take a cue from what wedding couples have been doing this season and focus on intentionality and intimacy while making sure to not forgo design.
Have fun with the color palette and mix traditional fall colors like burgundy, golds, and tans with colors like ochre and even an unexpected hint of blue.
Mix textures like these suede placemats with cut glass stemware to add dimension and interest to the table.
Lastly, don’t forget the importance of dessert. This tea cake with poached pears and whipped honey marscapone filling by Autumn Nomad was the perfect finish to this day.
